This notice explains how we process the personal data of people who visit the website tenutabussete.it and of people who contact us to ask for information or to book a stay, as required by Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we process and why
Browsing data
When you visit the website, the server that hosts it automatically records some technical data: IP address, date and time of the visit, page requested, type of browser and device. This data is needed to run the website and to protect it from abuse and cyber attacks. We do not use it to identify you or to profile you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data you give us when you contact us
If you write to us or call us, we process the data you give us: first name and surname, email address or phone number, dates of stay, number of guests and any requests. We use it to reply to you, send you a quote and manage your booking.
Legal basis: replying to your request and performing the accommodation contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for the data needed for tax and accounting purposes, compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Please only give us the data that is necessary. If you tell us about a particular need, for example a ground-floor room, we use it only to organise your stay.
If you do not give us your data
You do not need to give us any data to browse the website. The data for a request or a booking is optional, but without it we cannot reply to you or book your stay.
How long we keep it
- Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider for the security of the service, after which it is deleted.
- Requests for information that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months from the last contact.
- Data relating to a booking: for the whole duration of the relationship and then for the period required by tax and accounting obligations, normally 10 years.
Who may receive the data
We do not publish or sell the data. It may be processed, only for the purposes described above, by:
- Aruba S.p.A., which hosts the website;
- Google, which provides the email service we use;
- the professionals who assist us with tax and accounting obligations;
- public authorities, when required by law.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google’s email service may also process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. In these cases the transfer is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as the adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Cookies
The website does not use profiling or statistics cookies and does not load third-party content: fonts and images are all on our own server. For this reason we do not ask for your consent to cookies. Only technical cookies needed for the website to work may be used, for example when an administrator logs into the restricted area.
The “Open in Google Maps” link takes you to Google’s website, which processes data according to its own privacy policy.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us to access your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a commonly used format (portability) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). To do so, write to bussetehotel@gmail.com.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
If you believe that the processing does not comply with the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice, for example when we introduce online booking. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
